Don Schulz will show how this class allows the individual to impart his/her own energy into the finished product. You don't merely purchase the drum; you take part in the creative process. Class includes: 1) A finished (though still wet) "ancient style" natural hide and wood drum and stick to take home and enjoy for decades; 2) A prepped kit (cut and punched head, finished hoop, pre-cut lacing) with which to work; 3) A choice of sizes and materials. Hoops are generally maple and heads/lacing is elk. Buffalo, moose, deer and others are available at additional cost. This is a fun class that takes less time than you think (usually 2-3 hours).
