Spring Things This time of year buds are busting loose all over, we are pleasantly suprised by some absolutely gorgeous weather, and the feeling of new starts can sneak up on us like goose-bumps.

In this time of new beginnings, we are delighted to be defining this new start of ours - our E-zine. What is an E-zine? That question has been asked a lot lately.

Well, the easy answer is that it's an online magazine - our little magazine with listings of events and classes and readers and practitioners that we used to do for the store, only all spiffed up and served electronically.

This edition we have a book review, and the debut of our first "regular" column called "Ask Gypsy Moon." Gypsy will answer your nuts and bolts metaphysical questions. She talks about all of the celebrations around spring equinox this month, as well as some of the historical ways in which the equinox was recognized.

Tulips and daffodils, cavorting jack rabbits and squirrels - everyone's awakening to the energy of spring. We here at East West Books, White Rose Light Center send you spring blessings.
