Tea Leaf Reading has been practiced by people for thousands of years, and the interpretation of the symbols is surprisingly consistent around the world. As you travel from country to country what varies greatly is the ritual of reading the leaves. Some cultures throw the leaves on the saucers, and others insist the cup must be held by the person receiving the reading. Obviously, the technique used is not as important as the sensitivity of the reader, but most cultures feel their ritual provides the most accurate information. As a proud Irish Immigrant, my grandmother taught me that the Irish leaf reading methods facilitated inspired predictions.
